A trip budget should show what changes the answer
The cheapest-looking option may simply leave out a transfer, a second room or the cost of a late arrival. Build a comparison that uses the same travellers, nights and inclusions on both sides. The tools below help you organise assumptions; they do not provide live market prices.

Separate shared costs from individual costs
Write down accommodation and group transport separately from per-person tickets and meals. Consider this deliberately fictional example: two nights in a room at 100 units a night, a shared transfer of 60 units, and two travellers each spending 30 units a day for three days totals 440 units. That is 220 per traveller, before anything omitted. Dividing the room price alone by two would give a very misleading impression. The example teaches the arithmetic; its units are not lira, a current quotation, or a recommendation of a spending level.
Compare door-to-door time, not the headline journey
A shorter flight or drive does not necessarily produce a longer day at the destination. Include the journey to the terminal, waiting time, baggage collection, onward travel and the return connection. Mark each assumption as confirmed, estimated or optional. A plan with three uncertain connections is not equivalent to one direct journey with the same advertised duration. For a group, count the time everyone needs, not just the pace of its fastest member. If accessible transport is essential, obtain confirmation from the operator instead of inferring it from a map.
Stress-test the plan before paying
Recalculate after removing the optional excursion and after increasing your largest uncertain cost. Ask whether one cancelled service would require another night, whether the room quotation includes everyone, and which reservations are actually refundable. Keep emergency spending separate from the activities budget rather than treating unused money as a target to spend. Save the date and currency of any real quotation you use. A sensible comparison can lead to a shorter itinerary, a different base or an extra rest day; the purpose is control over trade-offs, not an artificially precise total.
